General Practice Clinic has a team of highly-qualified best nursing services, with expert healthcare staff to deal with a wide range of medical conditions. As well as being highly experienced, our nurses provide a safe, friendly, and confidential environment where you are able to freely discuss any health concerns. They will talk you through the procedure before undertaking any treatment and recommend any further treatment, if necessary.

Aseptic Dressing Change
If you have had a recent injury which has required a dressing, it is likely to need frequent changing. Some wound dressings need to be changed every couple of days in order to maximize healing and prevent infections. This can be very hard to do correctly yourself. One of our experienced nurses can change your dressing quickly and most important, properly in a sterile environment. They will also monitor how the wound is healing and check for infection.
Vitals Monitoring and Charting
Nurses continually observe and assess a patient’s physical appearance and perform clinical assessments.
“Vital Sign” monitoring is a term that is common to all health care providers, and generally refers to the collection of information that will assesses the patients “vital functions”. Vital sign monitoring includes:
- heart rate (HR)
- respiratory rate (RR)
- blood pressure (BP)
- temperature (Temp).
Intravenous Infusions
If you have a chronic condition or are recovering from certain medical conditions, you may need to receive medications or nutrients in a form other than taking medications or supplements by mouth. Infusion therapy delivers medications, fluids or nutrients directly into the body, through an intravenous catheter.
Our nurses have advanced training in infusion therapy to administer IV medications and manage vascular access with catheters and ports.
Intramuscular Injection
Some medicines need to be given into a muscle to work correctly. An IM injection is a shot of medicine given into a muscle (intramuscular). Our clinic has experienced nurses who can administer in aseptic technique.
Stitch Removal
If you have stitches following recent surgery or a recent injury, one of our nurses can painlessly remove the stitches for you. Our nurse will also check that the wound is properly healed and check for infection.
Intravenous (IV) Cannulation
Certain illnesses require immediate management with medications which need to be administered intravenously. For this reason, your doctor may advise placement of an intravenous cannula. Our experienced nursing staff provide effective cannulation services.
